Summary
The AI/ML Engineer III is a senior-level representing advanced expertise and leadership in artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role is responsible for architecting,
developing, and deploying complex AI systems and solutions, driving innovation, and influencing technical strategy at the team and project levels. The AI/ML Engineer III leads
cross-functional initiatives, mentors other engineers and data scient, and plays a key role in shaping organizational standards for AI/ML development.
Essential Functions
- Design, architect, and deploy sophisticated AI/ML solutions that address critical business challenges.
- Lead and oversee advanced data engineering, preparation, and feature selection for large-scale model training.
- Conduct comprehensive exploratory data analysis, drive feature engineering and selection for optimal model performance.
- Establish, monitor, and refine model evaluation frameworks using advanced metrics and validation strategies.
- Document technical work, present findings to stakeholders, and review code for quality and optimization.
- Mentor and guide engineers and data scientists, fostering technical growth and best practice.
- Collaborate actively with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver strategic AI/ML projects.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks and methodologies.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance deployed AI systems, ensuring robustness and scalability.

Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with Python or similar programming languages, Required.
- Deep understanding of advanced AI/ML concepts including reinforcement learning, deep learning, and large-scale data processing, Required.
- Proven ability with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy), Required.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, Required.
- Effective technical communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, Required.
- Mastery of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn); experience in deploying models in production environments, Required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field, Required
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, MBA or equivalent., Preferred
- 6 years or more in Extensive experience in AI, machine learning, or related areas, Required
- 4 years or more in Significant hands-on experience with AI/ML projects, tools, and frameworks, Preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of statistics, algorithms, and data structures Advanced, Required
- Up-to-date awareness of ethical, regulatory, and security considerations in AI/ML Intermediate, Required
- Experience with AI agentic platforms like Databricks Intermediate, Required
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, MLOps, and scalable deployment practices Intermediate, Required
