• Own and execute the monthly close process, including preparation, review, and posting of journal entries and account reconciliations • Prepare and reconcile all material balance sheet accounts, including cash, credit cards, intercompany, equity, prepaid expenses, and accruals • Capitalize, amortize, and reconcile commissions and other prepaid or deferred costs • Record and reconcile revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue in accordance with ASC 606 • Apply cash receipts, reconcile accounts receivable, and maintain the allowance for doubtful accounts • Oversee and directly review all cash activity, including accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, and bank transfers • Perform detailed review of payroll runs and prepare or review payroll-related journal entries and accruals • Record and reconcile inventory changes, lease amortization, and stock-based compensation • Execute and reconcile intercompany transactions • Prepare monthly financial statements and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support leadership decision-making • Serve as the primary, hands-on point of contact for external audits • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
