Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage transportation operations, including hub-and-spoke network design, fleet, and driver management.
- Oversee delivery processes, inter-departmental transfers, and logistics software to ensure seamless operations.
- Train and develop drivers and operations staff, promoting adherence to compliance, safety, and licensing standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to maintain vehicle reliability and longevity.
- Monitor and measure transportation performance, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and maintain high on-time delivery rates.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Partner with vendors to ensure contracts, pricing, and service levels meet operational needs.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with routing software, telematics, and fleet management systems.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret transportation data and implement improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for on-site hiring, training, and coaching.
