This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the evolution of a legacy desktop software platform into a cloud-powered, AI-enabled enterprise solution. The Sr. Product Manager will define and execute a strategic roadmap for cloud migration, modular add-on development, and AI-driven workflows, ensuring that product innovations align with both business priorities and customer needs. Working closely with engineering, AI/ML teams, product marketing, and UX, you will drive cross-functional initiatives, establish KPIs for cloud adoption and AI engagement, and influence organizational change. - Define and own the roadmap for cloud transformation and AI-enabled product evolution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and technical strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and architects to plan hybrid delivery models, modular add-on architecture, and integration with broader cloud ecosystems.
- Partner with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and insights into workflows, including evaluation of third-party AI tools.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product Marketing, UX, QA, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive customer experiences across desktop and cloud platforms.
- Establish feedback loops and measurable KPIs to track cloud adoption, AI feature engagement, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive organizational readiness for cloud-first and AI-augmented product delivery through internal communication, enablement programs, and mentoring.
- Oversee early access and beta programs for cloud and AI features, ensuring adoption and iterative improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required; MBA or Master’s in Engineering Management preferred.
- 15+ years in product management or product transformation leadership within software or industrial technology sectors.
- 5+ years managing teams of Product Managers or Product Owners.
- Proven experience leading desktop-to-cloud migrations or large-scale product modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures (Azure, AWS), SaaS business models, and AI/ML product integration.
- Technical fluency with modern development environments, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and data platforms.
- Background in CAD/CAM, manufacturing software, or industrial automation preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills; able to align cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
- Experience integrating AI copilots, cloud microservices, or connected ecosystems, and familiarity with PLM systems and hybrid deployment models.
