Role Description

This role provides the opportunity to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI solutions across multiple products and teams. The Senior AI Solutions Engineer will define technical roadmaps, establish reusable AI architectures, and ensure systems scale reliably while maintaining robustness and observability. You will partner with senior stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business priorities, while providing hands-on guidance to unblock engineering teams and oversee critical implementations. This position combines strategic influence with technical execution, enabling innovation in AI-powered marketing, discovery, and internal tools. • Design, implement, and deliver AI-powered systems and architectures aligned with long-term business roadmaps.
• Develop and evolve reusable LLM-based application patterns (e.g., RAG pipelines, embeddings, and evaluation strategies) for multi-team adoption.
• Ensure AI solutions are robust, observable, cost-efficient, and adaptable to evolving business needs and technologies.
• Lead full-stack development efforts across APIs, automation pipelines, cloud infrastructure, internal tools, and front-end applications.
• Establish engineering standards and shared platforms to promote safe and effective AI adoption across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and senior leadership to assess feasibility, align on strategy, and communicate technical progress.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists, providing architectural guidance and promoting best practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or full-stack development with progression into technical leadership.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering production systems used by multiple teams or products over extended timeframes.
• Expert proficiency in Python and experience designing APIs, automation frameworks, and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience building internal platforms or tools using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js).
• Strong architectural judgment balancing speed, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
• Ability to lead without direct authority, influence roadmap decisions, and work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
• Preferred: experience with search, discovery, metadata systems, or relevance optimization; consumer-facing AI platforms; experimentation frameworks; Master’s or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
