Job Description

Role Overview

Sodexo has an opening for a Senior Manager Safety Systems & Tools (Food) to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and execute on the development, implementation and training of the primary injury metrics tracking system and other safety incident reporting tools or systems for Quality Assurance and Food Safety, as well as Health & Safety.

This is a remote position. Candidates should reside near a major airport.

This position requires significant travel 50%-60% within North America.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities:

Lead deployment of Sodexo’s Digital Food Safety Solution as well as FSMA 204 Solution.

  • Work with Digital Food Safety Vendor and Unit to define system configuration, develop communications (internal & external) and training related personnel. 
  • Partners with business leaders and employees to continuously improve DFS 
  • Create and control all program documents that support digital food safety. 
  • Develop, Evolve and deploy all DFS/FSMA 204 reporting including, but not limited to all reporting to be used for operational excellence when it relates to DFS 
  • Establish reporting to meet the guidelines of FSMA 204 
  • New and updated reports for food safety teams, in-segment and corporate as it relates to Food Safety Performance
  • Project management on assigned program tracks relative to the “New” Safety System

What You Bring

Key qualifications include

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Food Safety &/or HSE experience
  • Ability to lead, motivate and influence others to achieve Safety objectives with limited support staff is critical
  • Understanding of applicable Food Safety and HSE Processes especially experience digitizing tasks
  • HACCP experience including deploying electronic food safety programs
  • Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Decision-making ability
