Role Description
We are currently looking for a E Discovery Attorney. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing eDiscovery issues and workflows for complex litigations and investigations. You will collaborate with various teams, ensuring compliance with relevant laws while enhancing eDiscovery processes. Your expertise will not only streamline operations but also guide clients and stakeholders through the intricate landscape of eDiscovery. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will elevate the standards of practice within the organization, providing critical support that promotes efficiency and accuracy in the legal domain.
- Managing eDiscovery for complex and global litigations and investigations
- Developing workflows for eDiscovery review platforms including Relativity
- Advising stakeholders on eDiscovery strategies compliant with policies and laws
- Providing support in eDiscovery-related negotiations and motion practice
- Assisting clients to update internal eDiscovery workflows
- Identifying and escalating improvements to eDiscovery policies
- Serving as subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics
- Implementing custom workflows to reduce costs and enhance speed-to-evidence
- Creating and refining standard documentation including ESI protocols and training guides
Qualifications
- JD required
- Admission to the Bar (any state)
- Minimum 5+ years of eDiscovery management experience
- Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and technologies
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Relativity and Everlaw
- Familiarity with data and document processing procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of eCompliance and Information Governance
- Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion
- Proactive in identifying continuous improvements in policies
