Role Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant - REMOTE. The successful candidate will join a dynamic Consulting Finance team, focusing on accurate financial reporting and supporting key month-end procedures. This role is pivotal in ensuring our financial integrity while collaborating with various business units. You'll enhance your commercial and technical accounting skills, contributing to continuous improvement in finance processes. Accountabilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial and management reports and accounting files
  • Ensure financial reporting is complete, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Support month-end activities including reconciliations and reporting
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Reconcile and post payroll entries and staff benefit costs
  • Partner with Finance Business Partnering teams to enhance business performance
  • Develop and enhance management reporting for better financial insight
  • Review and recommend improvements to internal processes and controls
  • Support internal audit activities and testing of key financial controls
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support across the finance team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Approximately 3 or more years of experience in financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including IFRS
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and system competence
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Experience preparing financial models and supporting reporting
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accurate work
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA preferred but not essential
