We are seeking a high-performing and strategic Senior Sales Manager to accelerate growth within our Home Theater division through our partnership with Best Buy. This role will lead the development and execution of sales strategies designed to expand TCL's presence with one of the largest national retailers in the category.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with a strong track record in the consumer electronics industry. In this role, the Senior Sales Manager will oversee and grow our relationship with Best Buy, driving market share through strategic planning, accurate forecasting, and hands-on sales execution while strengthening TCL's position as a leading brand in home entertainment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in sales management within the Consumer Electronics industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing and growing a Best Buy business.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets, with forecast accuracy.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with proficiency in developing and justifying business plans and forecasts.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior-level stakeholders both internally and retailer(s) of responsibility.
- Expertise in managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
- High level of business acumen and understanding of market dynamics within the CE industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Requirements
- Develop, justify, and execute comprehensive short and long-term strategic sales plans and annual business plans to meet and exceed company goals.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed 90- and 120-day rolling sales plan and conduct regular performance reviews, providing actionable insights to upper management and business planning teams.
- Successfully negotiate and achieve critical assortment goals with Best Buy to grow share of business.
- Act as the primary liaison with Best Buy, fostering strong, collaborative relationships and representing TCL as a world-class consumer electronics partner.
- Maximize the impact of TCL's marketing, advertising, event, and training budgets (where applicable) while ensuring optimal return on investment. Manage retailer-specific expenses efficiently in collaboration with the TCL accounting department.
- Negotiate and finalize annual vendor program agreements with Best Buy to secure favorable terms and drive mutual growth.
- Partner closely with the Director of Sales, business planning team (including leading weekly/bi-weekly CPFR calls), marketing, and other internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Formulate innovative business development strategies and provide a clear vision for sales strategy execution across accounts.
