Job Description

Scopely is looking for a Senior Live Ops Manager to join our WWE Champions team in the United States or Canada on a remote basis.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

WWE Champions is our ultimate and unique RPG puzzle match game featuring WWE superstars and legends across mobile and PC platforms.  WWE Champions is the most downloaded WWE game to date, with a highly engaged and passionate community - who will remain undefeated?

What You Will Do

As a Senior Live Operations Manager you will support and execute live operations for WWE Champions, one of our most successful and enduring mobile titles. This role is focused on high-quality execution and operational reliability, ensuring that live events, offers, and promotions are delivered accurately and perform as intended.

As a Senior Live Ops Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional partners to bring live content to players safely and consistently. You will own day-to-day Live Ops execution, monitor events in real time, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to improving Live Ops workflows and quality standards.

This role is ideal for an experienced Live Ops practitioner who operates independently, handles complex setups with confidence, and consistently delivers high-quality live execution.

  • Live Operations Execution: Execute and support live events, seasonal content, promotions, and time-limited offers, ensuring accurate setup, smooth launches, and reliable performance
  • Operational Calendar Ownership (Scoped): Own assigned portions of the Live Ops calendar, coordinating schedules, dependencies, and handoffs with Product, Production, and other partners
  • Live Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitor live events and systems, identify issues, and coordinate with Engineering, QA, Production, and Support to resolve problems quickly and minimize player impact
  • Performance Tracking & Insights: Monitor event KPIs, player engagement, and revenue performance. Partner with Product and Analytics to surface insights and inform iterative improvements
  • Process & Quality Improvement: Contribute to the documentation and refinement of Live Ops workflows, checklists, and best practices to reduce errors and improve execution quality
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Analytics, QA, Marketing, and Support to ensure live content is aligned, tested, and supported

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Live Ops, game operations, or live service roles, preferably in mobile free-to-play
  • SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • Hands-on experience executing segmented live content and A/B tests
  • Strong experience executing live events, offers, and in-game promotions
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex setups independently
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot live issues and operate calmly under pressure
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Player-focused mindset with an understanding of fairness, sentiment, and live-service expectations

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Live Ops admin tools, configuration systems, or experimentation frameworks
  • Experience working on social, competitive, or franchise-driven games (e.g., sports, fighting, licensed IP)
