Goodwill Industries International, Inc. (GII) is executing an ambitious strategic plan to support a network of nearly 150 Goodwill organizations across North America, and the Project Manager is responsible for driving high-priority, enterprise-level initiatives to turn this strategy into action. Serving as the primary driver of project execution, this role leads planning, execution, and delivery of priority projects focused on workforce development, retail and donated goods, and environmental stewardship to ensure disciplined, effective and timely execution. By coordinating cross-functional teams and partnering with Goodwill members, the Project Manager will accelerate progress, strengthen alignment, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable, strategy-aligned results.
The Project Manager leads complex, cross-functional projects from concept through execution, ensuring scope, timelines, resources, risks, and outcomes are actively managed. This position is responsible not only for coordination but for driving momentum, decisions, and follow-through to achieve results. The role supervises a Project Administrator who provides logistical and administrative support, enabling the Project Manager to focus on leadership, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and delivery of priority initiatives aligned with GII’s strategic plan.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, organizational development, social/human services, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of project management experience required.
- PMP certification or like project manager certification preferred.

- Strong project management expertise with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to drive work forward, make decisions, and hold teams accountable for results.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills for diverse and senior audiences.
- Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment.
- Familiarity with key project management software, tools, or similar stage-gate processes.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
