Job Description
• Lead and manage our engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a culture of continuous learning and development
• Drive the development and execution of our technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
• Establish best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and deployment processes
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance micro-services and APIs
• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that delight our customers
• Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability, empowering team members to take ownership of their work and drive results
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience building and scaling engineering teams in startup environments
- Strong technical background with expertise in micro-services architecture and modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Go, Python, React, React Native)
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget
- Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
