Role Description

The Risk Operations Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational and enterprise risks across the organization. This role supports risk governance processes, analyzes risk data, develops reporting frameworks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and ensure regulatory and operational compliance. The Risk Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting risk strategy execution and maintaining effective risk management practices in a fully remote environment.

  • Identify and evaluate operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses across business processes
  • Develop and maintain risk reporting dashboards and metrics
  • Support implementation of internal controls and mitigation strategies
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with audit preparation and regulatory reporting activities
  • Analyze incident reports and contribute to root cause investigations
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams
  • Document risk policies, procedures, and control frameworks
  • Support continuous improvement of risk management processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in risk analysis, operations analysis, compliance, or internal controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and control principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment

Requirements

  • Experience with enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience in financial services, technology, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Professional certifications such as CRMA, CIA, or similar
  • Experience with data visualization tools
