Job Description

This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more.

Role Description

This is an early startup employee role. Your anchor responsibility will be client success—onboarding clients, ensuring they get value from our AI audit platform, and serving as their first point of contact when issues arise. But that is only part of the job.

At this stage, everyone does everything. You will jump into operations, support active engagements, assist in sales conversations, review deliverables, build internal processes, and solve problems that do not yet have an owner. Many of these tasks will fall outside your initial expertise. We are looking for people energized by ambiguity, who push through hard problems rather than wait for someone to define their lane.

If you are looking for a well-scoped client success role with strict boundaries, this is not the place. If you want to help build a company and grow with it, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Success (Your Anchor)
    • Own client relationships from kickoff through renewal.
    • Lead onboarding and training for new clients on our AI audit platform.
    • Serve as the first call when something breaks, confuses a client, or needs escalation.
    • Surface feedback, pain points, and feature requests to the product and engineering teams.
    • Identify expansion opportunities and support account growth conversations.
  • Everything Else (The Reality)
    • Jump into active audit engagements to support the team when needed.
    • Review AI-generated workpapers and deliverables for quality and completeness.
    • Build and maintain operational processes, documentation, and playbooks.
    • Support sales calls and demos as part of the broader go-to-market motion.
    • Take ownership of problems and workflows that do not yet have an owner.
    • Step into whatever role is required to keep the company moving forward.

Qualifications

  • 1–6 years of accounting or audit experience (Big 4, mid-tier, or equivalent).
  • Experience outside traditional audit—startup, client-side, consulting, or adjacent roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Evidence of building something: processes, teams, products, or companies.
  • Genuine interest in AI and willingness to learn our tools deeply.

Green Flags We Love

  • Experience working at a startup and thriving in the chaos.
  • Side projects, investments, or entrepreneurial experiments.
  • Active use of AI tools in your current work.
  • Ability to speak both “audit” and “operations” fluently.
  • Motivation driven by impact rather than title.

Red Flags That Won’t Work Here

  • Seeking a predictable, well-defined role with stable boundaries.
  • Motivated primarily by title progression or prestige.
  • Uncomfortable with direct feedback and rapid iteration.
  • Viewing this as a “return to audit” rather than a forward career move.

Why Join Us

You will be an early team member at a company reimagining how audit gets done. You will have direct access to founders, influence over product direction, and the opportunity to build the client success function from the ground up. If you want to be a cog in a machine, this is not the place. If you want to help build the machine, we’d love to talk.

Compensation & Details

  • Competitive salary + equity.
  • Remote-friendly with flexibility.
  • Direct access to leadership and decision-making.
  • Opportunity to shape a category-defining company from the earliest stages.
