Role Description

This role is central to optimizing the lead qualification and sales engagement process, ensuring that high-potential prospects are identified, nurtured, and handed off to Sales efficiently.

  • Manage inbound and outbound leads
  • Conduct research to understand prospect needs
  • Evaluate fit against established criteria
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Prioritize leads and maintain CRM accuracy
  • Execute outreach campaigns
  • Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Balance structured processes with independent decision-making

Accountabilities

  • Conduct initial review and assessment of inbound and outbound leads using firmographic and persona criteria
  • Apply pass/hold/disqualify standards to determine lead fit and route leads into appropriate nurture paths
  • Research prospects and companies to understand business context, potential needs, and engagement signals
  • Maintain accurate, organized CRM records, tracking outreach, responses, and lead status
  • Initiate and personalize outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn using established sequences and messaging frameworks
  • Support secondary scoring and prioritization based on fit and engagement
  • Collaborate with Sales to confirm MQL status and provide thorough handoff notes for seamless follow-up
  • Partner with Marketing to align lead sources, campaigns, and nurture programs

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales development, inside sales, or lead generation roles
  • Proficiency in engaging prospects through email, phone, and professional digital channels
  • Familiarity with lead qualification concepts, scoring frameworks, and CRM workflows
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with new contacts and building professional rapport
  • Preferred: experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Preferred: familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or comparable prospecting tools
  • Exposure to B2B technology or solution-based selling environments is a plus
