- Monitor and analyze relevant legislative and regulatory changes, providing insights to internal teams and supporting risk assessment for compliance.
- Provide legal advice across a range of business matters, including contracts, HR, labor, independent contractor classification, and state registration requirements.
- Manage outside counsel relationships, ensuring deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams to implement regulatory changes and drive internal compliance processes.
- Lead external engagement campaigns to influence policy and support the company’s strategic interests.

- Strong problem-solving skills and bias toward action, capable of managing projects independently.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills to navigate diverse stakeholders and business teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to new priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the United States.
- Experience working cross-culturally and with global, diverse teams.
Requirements
- Background in labor and employment law to advise HR initiatives.
- Proven experience drafting legislation, regulations, or amendments adopted into law.
Benefits
- Base salary: $190,000 – $220,000, depending on experience and location.
- Discretionary annual bonus (paid quarterly) and/or equity compensation.
