Role Description
This role involves creating high-quality spreadsheet templates intended for real-world business and productivity use.
- Design visually polished Excel spreadsheet templates for professional use
- Create structured templates such as planners, dashboards, trackers, budgets, and invoices
- Apply strong layout, formatting, and visual hierarchy principles to spreadsheet design
- Develop templates suitable for real-world productivity and business workflows
- Ensure templates are visually clear, easy to use, and professionally structured
- Produce spreadsheet assets that are polished, structured, and sellable for business users
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of full-time professional experience in design-related roles
- A college degree or higher
- Strong visual and aesthetic design skills focused on layout, hierarchy, and clarity
- Professional experience using Microsoft Excel for structured template creation
- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing spreadsheet templates for productivity use
- Ability to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)
Requirements
- A core background in visual design rather than primarily UX or product design
- Demonstrated experience designing business tools such as dashboards, planners, and financial trackers
- Strong understanding of professional spreadsheet usability and visual organisation
