This role involves supporting a research initiative with a leading AI lab focused on improving how AI systems generate, evaluate, and fact-check media content.
- Evaluate and edit AI-generated news articles and media content for accuracy, tone, and clarity
- Design journalism-related prompts, scenarios, and evaluation rubrics
- Fact-check written content using professional journalistic standards
- Provide structured feedback on the quality, credibility, and editorial integrity of AI outputs
- Collaborate with researchers to simulate newsroom-style editorial workflows
- Help improve the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated media content
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a newsroom, media organisation, or freelance journalism
- Strong editorial judgment and commitment to factual accuracy
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Experience working across different journalistic formats such as investigative reporting, opinion pieces, and breaking news
- Ability to analyse and critique written media content at a professional editorial level

- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred
