Role Description

As a Lead Contracts Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement.   • Lead and manage the full tender process on behalf of the client, covering multiple construction, specialist, and professional services packages - from GC contracts to consultant appointments.
  • Coordinate and administer all tender stages, including bidder prequalification, tender issuance, clarification management, evaluation of submissions, and support for commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Prepare, review, and assemble contract documentation in line with consultancy best practices, ensuring clarity, risk mitigation, and alignment with client governance requirements.
  • Oversee post‑contract administration as the client’s trusted advisor, including claims review, risk assessments, contractual interpretation, and management of variations and change orders.
  • Work closely with project management, cost management, and technical teams to integrate contract strategies with project delivery requirements.
  • Support the commercial team in preparing recommendations and guide the client through contract award decisions, ensuring they are commercially robust and aligned to project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bring 15+ years of experience in contracts or commercial management within a consultancy, construction, or development environment, preferably in data center or life sciences projects.
  • Have deep knowledge of construction contract law, procurement strategies, and contract administration from a consultant’s advisory standpoint.
  • Possess strong analytical and research capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex legal and commercial agreements.
  • Have experience using Ariba or similar tender management/e‑procurement platforms for structured tendering processes.
  • Are familiar with local and international standard forms of contract and understand how they apply within a consultancy‑led approach.
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and judgement, particularly when representing client interests.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats, with an ability to produce high‑quality contractual documentation and reports.
  • Work with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional quality in a fast‑paced consultancy environment.
