Role Description

This role is designed for a highly skilled AI researcher and engineer with a passion for agentic AI and practical applications of cutting-edge machine learning techniques. The Senior Applied Agent Research Engineer will work on challenging problems at the intersection of AI research and real-world deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.

• Develop and implement AI agent models, algorithms, and architectures to address complex, applied machine learning problems.
• Participate in top-tier machine learning competitions and internal innovation challenges to drive practical AI excellence.
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to translate AI research into deployable solutions.
• Engage with the broader ML community through technical blogs, conference talks, open-source contributions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Work directly with external partners and customers to apply advanced ML techniques to real-world problems.
• Conduct rigorous evaluation of agentic AI solutions, including experimentation, benchmarking, and performance optimization.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior researchers and engineers, fostering knowledge exchange and technical growth.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of applied ML/AI experience, with demonstrated ability to solve complex, real-world problems.
• Proven success in competitive machine learning (e.g., Kaggle Master/Grandmaster status or equivalent achievements).
• Strong programming skills and familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing technical documentation, papers, and blog posts, as well as presenting to diverse audiences.
• Self-directed and collaborative, with experience working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment while delivering high-quality results.
