Role Description
The Strategy Director role is a key leadership position that is part of the Electronic Systems Sector Strategy and Planning team. In this role you will:
- Work closely with your peers and collaborate across the sector to lead and assist with sector wide strategic initiatives
- Assist with market analysis and competitive intelligence efforts
- Shape our corporate investment strategy
- Support acquisitions and divestitures
To expand the experience base of our current team, we are particularly interested in individuals with:
- Broad business or functional experience across BAE Systems
- Understanding of how our organization operates
- Experience collaborating across networks to conduct targeted market and competitive analysis
- Understanding of Acquisition Reform & Arsenal of Freedom
- Experience with various DoD acquisition processes
Based on multiple factors, remote work may be a possibility for this position, at the discretion of the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree + 12 years work experience or Master's + 9 years of equivalent experience
- 3 years in a management/lead role, functional or product/program
- Active US Secret Clearance and ability to obtain US Top Secret Clearance
Requirements
- Expert user of M36S suite
- Executive/C-Suite level presentation development skills
- Experience with building Integrated business plans
- Experience with acquisitions and divestitures
- Experience performing broad market analysis and competitive intelligence
- Understanding of current Electronic Systems products and markets
- Experience with Power Automate
