Job Description

Cloud Architect, Product Management

Location: Remote (US-based)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, technically deep Cloud Architect to serve as the critical technical bridge between our Engineering, Product Management, and Field teams. In this role, you will act as the primary subject matter expert on the cloud services we support, ensuring our product vision translates into technically sound, commercially viable solutions.

You thrive at the intersection of technical execution and product strategy. You’ll guide Product Managers during the product development process to ensure first releases of our features meet rigorous enterprise standards, while simultaneously partnering with field teams to ensure post-sale implementations land successfully in complex customer cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Design: Serve as the technical SME to help PMs translate complex cloud requirements into actionable product requirements and PRDs.
  • Architecture Validation: Work closely with PM and Engineering to design and validate architectures and workflows that meet enterprise-grade performance and security standards.
  • Implementation Excellence: Lead the "last mile" of product success by ensuring field teams have the right documentation, technical enablement, and architectural guides to make post-sale implementations successful.
  • Hands-on Validation: Conduct hands-on validation of new features in lab and customer environments to ensure they solve real-world challenges before full-scale rollout.
  • Field Readiness: Support the Sales Engineering and Professional Services organizations by validating field-facing content, including solution briefs, demos, and technical enablement materials.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a technical consultant to key customers and partners, helping them navigate cloud architecture and integration questions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Technical Product roles within a cybersecurity or enterprise software company.
  • Technical Depth: Strong expertise in major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and identity services.
  • Execution: Proven ability to go "hands-on"—you can perform deep-dive demos, validate complex integrations, and troubleshoot implementation hurdles in real-time.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in translating technical nuances into business value for both executive stakeholders and technical practitioners.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Specialization: Prior experience in cloud security, data resilience, or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
  • Persona Knowledge: Experience working directly with Cloud Architects, or Security Engineering teams to solve architectural bottlenecks.
