Job Description

• Define and execute a global business development strategy targeting hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise Fortune 500 accounts, and colocation operators across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. • Identify, pursue, and close high-value strategic partnerships, alliance agreements, and multi-year enterprise contracts that drive material revenue contribution. • Build and maintain a robust global pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring consistent forecasting accuracy and visibility to executive leadership. • Lead go-to-market expansion into new geographies, verticals, and segments, leveraging market intelligence and competitive analysis. • Serve as the senior solutions authority for global strategic pursuits, translating complex client requirements into compelling, differentiated Salute solution frameworks. • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Operations, and Technical teams to design end-to-end critical infrastructure solutions encompassing deployment, lifecycle services, and managed operations. • Drive thought leadership in emerging areas including AI/ML infrastructure, sustainable data center practices, and hybrid IT environments. • Develop repeatable, scalable solution playbooks and commercial frameworks for use across global sales teams. • Own and cultivate C-suite and senior executive relationships within a defined portfolio of global strategic accounts, driving retention, expansion, and net new revenue. • Serve as the primary executive sponsor for flagship global accounts, ensuring alignment across delivery, commercial, and strategic planning functions. • Lead complex contract negotiations, RFP responses, and commercial structuring for multi-region, multi-year engagements. • Orchestrate executive business reviews (EBRs) and strategic account planning sessions to ensure mutual long-term value creation. • Partner with regional sales leaders across AMER, EMEA, and APAC to align global account strategies with regional execution plans. • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure market feedback informs service evolution, go-to-market messaging, and competitive positioning. • Lead cross-functional deal teams on complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits from qualification through contract execution. • Champion the seamless transition of strategic wins from business development to delivery, ensuring client expectations are clearly set and exceeded. • Monitor and synthesize global market trends including AI-driven infrastructure demand, edge computing proliferation, sustainability mandates (ESG), and regulatory environments across key regions. • Represent Salute at global industry events, conferences, and executive forums as a subject matter expert and company ambassador. • Contribute to strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and annual operating plan development at the executive level. • Publish insights, white papers, and thought leadership content to elevate Salute's global brand authority.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive B2B experience in strategic sales, global business development, or enterprise account management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior individual contributor or leadership role with global scope.
  • Demonstrated track record of originating and closing complex, multi-million-dollar engagements within the data center, critical infrastructure, managed services, or digital infrastructure sectors.
  • Deep expertise in data center operations, lifecycle services, and mission-critical infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain C-level and VP-level relationships with hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation clients on a global basis.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience operating across multiple global regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC) with an appreciation for regional market nuances, cultural dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools (Salesforce preferred); strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Military background or experience within a veteran-centric organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as Uptime Institute Tier Certification, ASHRAE thermal guidelines, TIA-942, and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Working knowledge of DCIM, BMS, and ITSM platforms.
  • Multilingual capability (English plus one or more of: Spanish, Portuguese, German, Mandarin) is advantageous for global account coverage.
