Role Description
This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of financial management solutions within complex SAP and cloud environments.
- Architect high-availability, secure, and scalable solutions across SAP HANA, SAC, BusinessObjects, and Data Services.
- Ensure seamless integration with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable efficient data enrichment, system automation, and operational excellence.
- Lead incident resolution, performance tuning, and security compliance.
- Guide best practices in data integration and cloud architecture.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP-based CFO Control Tower solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, including APIs and flat files, into the financial management system.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement proactive maintenance, tuning, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Ensure robust database security through access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, runbooks, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during critical incidents, providing timely resolution and preventive measures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior administrators and team members, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Stay current with SAP HANA releases, updates, and best practices, evaluating their impact on financial operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in system administration, solution architecture, or SAP technology stack management.
- Strong experience with SAP products, including SAP SAC, SAP HANA, BusinessObjects, and Data Services.
- Expertise in cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) and their impact on SAP solutions.
- Proficiency in system integration, landscape design, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.
- Solid understanding of security concepts, including user provisioning, authorization, and SAP security notes implementation.
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for system operations and data integration.
- Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices for system optimization and operational excellence.
