Role Description

This role is pivotal in enhancing the revenue cycle processes by developing standard reports that cater to business users' needs. The analyst will engage with project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements, ensuring that the data-driven decisions are robust and strategic. Furthermore, this position involves a collaborative approach in executing special projects, with a strong emphasis on data science to tackle operational challenges. The outcomes of this role directly contribute to improving business insights and management strategies.

  • Develop, test, and deploy standard reports and dashboards based on business requirement specifications.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and key business users to document business requirements accurately.
  • Incorporate data from various sources including hospital and physician billing systems.
  • Lead special projects that require analytical research and collaboration with other business areas.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital standards of performance and conduct.
  • Utilize behavioral standards to support the hospital’s mission and goals.
  • Foster collaboration with the team and revenue cycle stakeholders.
  • Drive analytics and reporting innovation toward industry-standard technologies.
  • Apply data science in addressing operational revenue cycle challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Health Informatics, finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) Certification required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in managed healthcare or insurance operations.
  • Strong understanding of Hospital and Professional billing data.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports, and Tableau.
  • Experience with relational database concepts and OLAP technologies.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
