Role Description
In this pivotal role, you will lead the enterprise-wide shift toward managing data as a strategic product, defining clear ownership, scalable governance frameworks, and actionable processes. - Develop and operationalize the Data Product Model, including lifecycle management, metadata standards, quality rules, and security/privacy requirements.
- Design and implement a comprehensive governance operating model, including policies, foundational processes, forums, metrics, and dashboards to track effectiveness.
- Drive adoption of governance practices across business and technology teams, embedding product thinking, SLAs, documentation, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead data stewardship initiatives, mediate escalated data quality or ownership issues, and prioritize remediation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor and report governance performance and maturity to senior leadership, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Build, mentor, and develop governance talent across centralized and federated models.
