Role Description

This role involves leading the IT and Infosec Vendor Management Office (VMO) to define the strategy, manage vendor spend, governance, and value realization across IT and Security vendors.

  • Own and manage the entire IT Opex budget and financial forecasting cycle for IT/Security (~$20M+).
  • Partner with Finance to deliver accurate, single-view reporting on spend, savings, and forecast for executive leadership reviews.
  • Define the strategy and lead all application portfolio and rationalization initiatives.
  • Lead all major contract negotiations and sourcing strategies to achieve ambitious cost savings targets (10–15%+).
  • Provide strategic oversight for the end-to-end coordination of all renewals.
  • Own the strategic direction and enforcement of the Global Software Procurement Policy (P.IT.002).
  • Direct the management and optimization of VMO intake, workflow, and tooling.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of the VMO dashboard and analytics.
  • Serve as the executive-level VMO leader and communication channel for IT and Security stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience leading software vendor management, IT procurement, or IT Asset Management (ITAM) functions for a mid-to-large technology or SaaS organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and run structured renewal processes at scale.
  • Proven track record in leading contract negotiations and sourcing strategies resulting in substantial (10%+) cost savings.
  • Expertise in data and tooling, having leveraged systems like Jira/JSM, Coupa, and SaaS/ITAM platforms.
  • A history of defining and executing application rationalization strategies.
  • Strong experience establishing and maturing cross-functional partnerships with Procurement, Legal, Security, Finance, and application owners.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A bias toward structured, repeatable processes and robust dashboard reporting.
