Role Description

The Product Manager plays a crucial role in Elevate Healthcare's mission to make the world safer, healthier, and more productive by developing innovative products that empower healthcare clinicians and practitioners.

  • Responsible for the entire product lifecycle — from ideation to launch and ongoing management
  • Ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and user-centered innovation
  • Reports to: VP & GM, Lifecycle Management
  • Direct Reports: None, Leading by Influence
  • Location: Preference is Sarasota or Remote with travel to SRQ as needed

External Relationships:

  • Customers at all levels (executive directors, clinicians, educators, technicians)
  • Distributors, Commercial Partners, Integrators
  • Simulation Associations, Industry Groups
  • Academic Medical Centers, Hospital Systems, Regulatory Bodies

Internal Relationships:

  • Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing
  • Sales Team, Elevate Leadership, Chief Nursing Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the end-to-end development of innovative task trainers and accessories that complement existing product lines
  • Work closely with the Patient Simulator Product Managers to ensure alignment and meet market needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research utilizing AI and business intelligence tools
  • Ensure all products comply with healthcare industry regulations (e.g. FDA, HIPAA, CE)
  • Monitor product performance by tracking KPIs (NPS, user adoption, ROI, outcomes)
  • Lead creation, execution, and ongoing iteration of go-to-market, pricing, and reimbursement strategies for simulation products
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with clinical stakeholders, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies
  • Align cross-functional priorities and mitigate risks
  • Stay current with healthcare simulation trends, technology, and international regulatory/cultural requirements
  • Own lifecycle risk management including legacy product retirement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required)
  • Relevant graduate degree or certificate (preferred)

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in product management in healthcare, med-tech, or technology sectors
  • Proven track record developing, launching, and scaling successful healthcare or simulation products
  • Experience managing clinical validation, regulatory submissions, and field testing
  • Experience with agile product management, backlog and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
  • Demonstrated ability to teach customers new perspectives and challenge existing processes
  • Experienced in tailored sales messaging and guiding buying journeys
  • Fluency in KPIs, business analytics, and ROI analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, CRM (Salesforce preferred), LinkedIn, Zoominfo, Power BI, and AI tools
  • Able and willing to travel domestically (typically 60–80% per quarter)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 80 pounds occasionally for demos/trade show setup
  • Willingness to work with international teams, adapt to global regulations and cultural nuances
  • Deals effectively with ambiguity
