Job Description
Role Description
As the Lead Data Science, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and adoption of data-driven solutions to support and optimize marketing decisions for the Onboarding, Loyalty, or Retention marketing teams. You will be a highly visible and impactful resource and will oversee the analytics team's efforts to provide data science and analytical solutions with the objective of optimizing performance across digital and non-digital channels. This position requires you to have an in-depth understanding of lifecycle customer marketing analytics, including test design, sample sizing, and statistical significance measurement.
- Partner with marketing teams to identify and size marketing opportunities, identify dependencies (i.e., data, timing, regulatory, media, etc.) and make recommendations for marketing approaches to support business goals.
- Responsible for valid test design, appropriate sample sizing and setup to ensure results are statistically significant and insights are generated utilizing A/B or multivariate testing methods.
- Responsible for post-campaign analysis, including media performance (both actuals and to goal), consumer/audience performance and trends, consumer profiles, patient appointment analysis and trends, omni-channel analysis (online to offline, offline to online, optimal pathway, etc.).
- Responsible for defining and executing on the marketing analytics roadmap.
- Responsible for identifying the opportunity for advanced analytics (i.e., predictive models for targeting, segmentation solutions, cross-sell models, etc.) and working with analytics partners to develop the solution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical discipline such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in multiple marketing strategies such as omni-channel marketing measurement, targeting, attribution, forecasting, and experimental test design
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- 7+ years of analytics in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with managing multiple projects and deadlines across teams in a large, highly matrixed company
- Experience in managing change by leading and energizing others, modeling adaptability, and inspiring strong organizational performance through periods of transformation, ambiguity, and complexity
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences
- Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and win their co-ownership in the outcome
- Experience gathering requirements for BI/reporting automation
- May require travel up to twice a year

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$142,300 - $195,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
