Key Responsibilities 

We are seeking an individual with extensive Kahua kBuilder development experience to assist with configuration and customization in the Kahua PMIS Platform to facilitate the application needs tailed to the end users’ requirements using out-of-box functions from Kahua and customized application using kBuilder.  The ideal candidate will have strong Kahua configuration experience, kBuilder development and UI development skills, a passion for clean design, and experience with modern front-end technologies in an Agile environment. 


Services to be performed by the candidate includes, but is not limited to, the following: 

  • Application Development & Customization Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications on the Kahua platform 
  • Customizes workflows, forms, and reports to optimize project management processes 
  • Utilize Kahua’s APIs, scripts, and configuration tools to build solutions that meet specific business needs 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions 
  • Working closely with technical and functional leads to developed and deploying new features and UI improvements in the Kahua application 
  • Provide support for diagnosing and resolving technical and functional related issues reported by technical & functional leads 
  • Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions to guide the future functionality of the PA Kahua platform 
  • Integrate Kahua applications with third-party systems and ensure seamless data flow across platforms 
  • Design and implement data integration workflows and ensure their proper execution 
  • Resolve technical issues related to Kahua applications, ensuring smooth operations 
  • Analyze complex processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions 
  • Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the performance and usability of existing applications 
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and updates for deployed solutions 
  • Provide training and support to end-users on custom applications and new features 


Qualifications & Skills  


Minimum Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 
  • Kahua Certified Consultant and Kahua kBuilder 101 Certification are required 
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in developing applications on the Kahua platform, including app extensions and custom apps using out-of-box configuration and kBuilder development 
  • Strong demonstrated experience with XML, JSON, HTML, and report development. 
  • Strong demonstrated experience with APIs, scripting, Kahua kConnect and integration with third-party systems 
  • Demonstrated experience in software or application development, ideally within construction technology or enterprise systems 
  • Proficient in frontend programming languages such as JavaScript or similar 
  • Proficient in databases (e.g., SQL), data integration techniques, and reporting tools 
  • Strong understanding of construction industry workflows and project management 
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. 


Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Other Kahua platform certifications or certifications in other project management tools 
  • Experience in the construction, engineering, or project management sectors
