Job Description

Job Summary:

The Intelligent Automation Developer II creates and implements Intelligent Process Automation using UiPath and/or Power Automate, Python- AI/ ML solutions based on business requirements and in accordance with standard automation tool design principles and conventions.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where intelligent/ robotic Process automation and AI/ ML can be applied to streamline processes, reduce manual efforts, and deliver tangible business benefits
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for AI/ML and intelligent/ robotic project automation projects; translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Analyze and preprocess data to ensure its quality, relevance, and suitability for AI/ML model development; collaborate with data engineers to establish data pipelines and data governance
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation using technologies like robotic process automation (RPA) and intelligent process automation (IPA); create and maintain automation workflows
  • Apply understanding of the design, development, and deployment for machine learning models and algorithms to solve business challenges which may involve selecting appropriate algorithms, feature engineering, model training, and optimization.
  • Monitor the performance of deployed AI/ML models and automation solutions; continuously assess their accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness, and iterate on improvements as necessary
  • Collaborate with IT, data science, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of AI/ML and automation solutions into existing systems and workflows
  • Provide training and support to end-users who interact with AI/ML models or automated systems; address queries and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
  • Research and document requirements of software users
  • Support team goals on a technical level making sure that the solutions proposed and designed are in line with the department and CareSource vision
  • Assist the Architectural Council with technical knowledge regarding emerging technologies to help drive strategy
  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
  • Lead projects from a development standpoint and coordinate activities with the developer teams as needed
  • Perform technical code reviews of peers to ensure proper coding methodology is being adhered to
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in the field of computer science or software engineering or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of UiPath Robotic Process Automation experience is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of AI/ ML using Python is required
  • Experience in end-to-end development of business processes using UiPath Robotic Process Automation is required
  • UiPath and/or Power Automate experience is required
  • Agentic AI/ Generative AI experience is required
  • Experience developing and designing n-tier applications with multi-tier architectures is preferred
  • UML Modeling experience is preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Design, build and deploy RPA/ IPA solutions using UiPath
  • Working technical knowledge of object-based programming languages, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, or Python
  • SML, XSLT, Schema coding experience and translation abilities
  • Web service development knowledge
  • Strong relational database experience including tuning, stored procedure development and use of reporting services in a Microsoft environment
  • Healthcare and Facets experience and developing applications in the healthcare sector preferred
  • Hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including SVN, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server
  • Familiarity with PDD/TDD and Iterative software development methodologies
  • Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
  • Technically proficient
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Ability to work additional hours to meet project deadlines

Licensure and Certification:

  • UiPath Certification and/or Power Automate certification is strongly preferred
  • Certification on Data Science and AI/ML is strongly preferred
  • Certifications in technical tools and/or other programming languages preferred (MCSD, Java, Onbase, Tibco, SAP, etc.)

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$72,200.00 - $115,500.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
