Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in delivering complex Analytics initiatives within a professional services environment. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end analytics programs for enterprise clients, ensuring successful execution of data-driven transformation initiatives including data platforms, BI modernization, advanced analytics, AI/ML, and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing large-scale analytics engagements, working closely with data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of Analytics and Business Intelligence projects across multiple client engagements.
- Manage complex data initiatives including:
- Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW)
- Data Lake / Lakehouse implementations
- BI & reporting modernization
- Advanced analytics and predictive modeling programs
- AI/ML deployment initiatives
- Data governance and data quality programs
- Develop detailed project plans, roadmaps, and resource plans aligned to analytics program objectives.
- Manage scope, budget, timelines, and risk across concurrent analytics workstreams.
- Oversee requirements gathering for analytics use cases, KPIs, dashboards, and data models.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including data engineers, data architects, BI developers, data scientists, and QA teams.
- Ensure data integration, ETL/ELT, and reporting solutions are delivered according to design and business expectations.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across business, IT, and executive leadership.
- Implement Agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies suited for analytics program delivery.
- Manage client communications, steering committees, and executive status reporting.
- Ensure analytics solutions align with regulatory, compliance, and data governance requirements.
- Track business value realization and ROI from analytics initiatives.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of project/program management experience with at least 7+ years delivering Analytics or Data-focused initiatives.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale:
- Data warehouse or cloud data platform implementations
- BI tool deployments (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Data migration and modernization projects
- AI/ML or advanced analytics initiatives
- Strong understanding of data architecture concepts including ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Experience managing projects in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrated experience in professional services or consulting environments with multiple client engagements.
- Strong financial management experience including T&M and fixed-price engagements.
- Experience leading distributed and offshore delivery teams.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience managing Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse initiatives.
- Exposure to MLOps or production AI deployment programs.
- Experience delivering analytics projects in regulated industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance).
