Job Description

As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will support a Director of Demand Generation and collaborate together to drive growth for your book of clients. You will be responsible for the research, campaign build-out, analysis and optimization of client’s paid media campaigns. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple verticals with a focus on implementing innovative demand generation programs. This role is client facing and will be expected to interface and communicate with clients via Zoom, email, and Slack.

Salary target for this position is $95k.

What you'll do at Refine Labs: 

  • Paid Media Campaign Management: Plan, test, implement, and measure multi-channel media campaigns to drive inbound demand. Perform audience research to develop new campaign ideas for paid search and paid social. Manage day-to-day performance across several media channels including, but not limited to: LinkedIn, Meta Ads, Google Ads, & Microsoft Ads.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze performance data and report on results, including campaign results, creative performance trends, data stories and spend recommendations. Rapidly iterate on strategy based on findings.
  • Budget Management and Pacing: Effectively allocate and pace media spend across the channels that you manage to drive key business results for your clients.
  • Client Management: Interface regularly with clients, prepare reports, presentations & other client facing materials to showcase the results and impact of your efforts. 
  • Cross-team Collaboration: Partner closely with a Director of Demand Generation to co-design strategic marketing campaigns for your book of business.


You Need: 

  • Demonstrated experience building & optimizing paid media campaigns, preferably in a B2B SaaS/Tech environment
  • An analytical mindset and proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments
  • The ability to identify trends & insights through in-depth data analysis
  • Google Ads & Analytics certifications preferred!
  • Experience building & managing ad campaigns in Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta (experience in other platforms is a plus! [6sense, Youtube, Bing, X, Reddit, Capterra, etc.])
  • Familiarity with how digital ads are served and tracked using pixels, URL parameters (UTM codes), and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager. 
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, this role will interact directly with customers and is expected to be on camera for Zoom calls.

  • To be able to effectively communicate expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
  • The ability to resolve and/or escalate issues in a proactive manner in order to adhere to campaign delivery goals


Interview Process:
The typical interview process for Performance Marketing Manager at Refine Labs is 3 rounds, including an intro call, technical assessment, and a final presentation requiring presenting on a work sample. Our interview process assesses a candidate's technical, client management, and presentation skills.
