Job Description
The Remote Estimator II is responsible for detailing customer job proposals based on blueprints and work order specifications. Estimating materials and related costs for fixture, millwork, and custom casegoods products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Performs material take-offs from blueprints and creates a complete, comprehensive proposal based on the plans and specifications provided
Creates and details production tickets and assists in purchasing materials for ongoing projects
Coordinates changes with customers, salesmen, and purchasing and maintains change order log
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Estimating, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience
Must have experience in Fixture, Casegoods, and Millwork Estimating
Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
Salary Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
