Job Description
Role Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll help the development team by verifying new features, feature upgrades, and bug fixes to ensure quality and identify program defects. You will:
- Manually test across web, iOS, and Android platforms
- Identify and document test cases
- Run functional, regression and acceptance tests
- Write and regress bugs
- Find minimal reproduction steps
- Help develop and implement testing strategy and test plans for our product suite
- Interact with and effectively communicate with developers
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience manual testing products in a web or mobile environment
- Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA/Bugzilla/Mantis
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail/Quality Center/Zephyr
- Self-motivated and have the interest and ability to thrive in a small company environment
- Skilled problem solvers who want to gain knowledge and develop new skills
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Able to work during the core hours of 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM PST
Requirements
- Prior experience working with accessibility tools is a plus, but not a requirement
- Prior experience working in an agile development team is a plus, but not a requirement
- Prior experience with continuous build software such as Jenkins is a plus, but not a requirement
- Prior experience programming or writing scripts in languages such as Python/Shell/JavaScript is a plus, but not a requirement
