Job Description
Role Description
This role involves providing risk management support and advice to members of the sponsoring dental associations.
- Advisor/liaison for risk management calls from TDIC sponsoring association members.
- Researches risk management issues involving analysis of claims data, industry trends, regulatory, statutory and legal developments.
- Collaborates with team to identify article topics for addressing risk management issues for dental publications.
- Researches and develops self-study courses and seminars, presentations, products and services specific to identified coverage needs.
- Presents live, in-person risk management seminars to educate members and dental students.
- Participates in Risk Assist Program to provide targeted risk management assistance.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ risk management, dental office, or other similar business experience.
- Knowledge of insurance, dentistry, and/or healthcare risk management.
- Ability to effectively partner with clients and customers to answer questions and problem solve.
- Demonstrated public speaking skills, including the ability to develop and deliver live presentations.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field recommended or equivalent experience.
- Risk management experience.
- Front and/or back dental office experience.
- RDA or RDH license.
- Public speaking experience.
