Job Description
• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to nonprofit clients, supporting executive teams and boards
• Develop and maintain multi-year financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses
• Lead the preparation and presentation of board reporting packages and management dashboards
• Perform high-level financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks
• Guide clients through budgeting processes, including annual budgets and mid-year reforecasts
• Support clients during audits, compliance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
• Drive improvements in financial reporting tools and advisory service delivery
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CFA license preferred
- Minimum of six years accounting, financial planning & analysis experience
- Public accounting experience is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information for diverse audiences
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with financial reporting tools
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or similar service orientation
- Experience working independently in a remote environment is preferred
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
