Role Description

The Senior Industry Principal is a strategic visionary and Market-Maker who serves as a trusted C-suite advisor to Kinaxis’ most complex global accounts. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and supply chain orchestration, leveraging deep vertical expertise (High-Tech and/or Aerospace & Defense (A&D) strongly preferred). Operating as a lead architect of value, you will guide executive stakeholders through digital transformation, translating Maestro capabilities into multi-year strategic roadmaps that drive enterprise-wide resilience and measurable financial outcomes.

  • Act as a pursuit manager on key opportunities, collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and services to position the right solutions, shape demo strategies and ensure alignment with customer objectives.
  • Apply domain expertise in areas such as demand planning, S&OP, supply planning, supplier collaboration, business analytics, reporting, and infrastructure technologies.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Kinaxis solutions – both current and emerging – and translate complex industry challenges and trends into tailored Kinaxis solutions that align with each customer’s unique business needs.
  • Develop industry and customer-specific messaging to support sales efforts and build long-term relationships with customers across business, finance, and IT stakeholders.
  • Leverage competitive intelligence to highlight Kinaxis’ unique value and differentiation in the market.
  • Lead value engineering efforts by creating and presenting business cases that clearly demonstrate ROI and the strategic value of Kinaxis solutions.
  • Maintain industry-leading expertise in supply chain and technology domains to support customer success and innovation.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the supply chain industry by contributing to white papers, case studies, and industry publications that showcase Kinaxis’ innovation and expertise.
  • Represent Kinaxis at industry conferences, symposiums, and webinars through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and expert sessions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop thought leadership content that aligns with emerging trends and customer challenges.
  • Build and maintain a strong professional presence in the industry through active participation in forums, associations, and digital platforms.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ Years of Professional Excellence: A distinguished career spanning consulting, pre-sales, or industry leadership, with a heavy focus on end-to-end supply chain transformation.
  • Niche Vertical Expertise: Deep understanding of High-Tech (semiconductor cycles, outsourced manufacturing, contract manufacturing) and/or A&D sectors strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Educational Foundation: MBA or MS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance is highly preferred.
  • C-Suite Gravitas: Proven ability to command a room of executive stakeholders and pivot seamlessly between technical architecture and business strategy.
  • Value-Based Selling Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in consultative selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDPICC) and formal Value Engineering processes.
  • Technological Vision: Advanced literacy in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI as they apply to supply chain heuristics, anomaly detection, and automated decision-support.
  • Collaborative Influence: A track record of leading without authority in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Global Mobility: Readiness for international travel (up to 50%) to engage with global leadership teams.

Benefits

  • Flexible vacation and Kinaxis Days (company-wide day off on the last Friday of every month)
  • Flexible work options
  • Physical and mental well-being programs
  • Regularly scheduled virtual fitness classes
  • Mentorship programs and training and career development
  • Recognition programs and referral rewards
  • Hackathons
