Role Description

The HR Analyst Workforce Insights primarily uses analytic techniques to create insights HR Business Partners use in optimizing how our workforce supports strategic business outcomes.

  • Blends consulting and analytic skillsets to understand strategic goals of clients.
  • Uses both quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques.
  • Assembles existing data from HRIS, Learning, or Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Collects new data through interviews or survey instruments when necessary.
  • Develops cross-functional partnerships to create constructs such as Total Cost of Workforce or Risk of Exit model.
  • Communicates complex and nuanced results in an understandable manner to leaders and peers.
  • Creates complex statistical analyses and predictive models of workforce performance and outcomes.
  • Independently analyzes and communicates the impact of workforce programs on operational outcomes.
  • Creates analytical products based on business requirements using tools like Excel, SAS, R, SPSS.
  • Builds relationships with clients to understand business and workforce strategies.
  • Independently analyzes and combines data from disparate sources for meaningful analyses.
  • Researches and recommends targets for key metrics using benchmarks and internal data.
  • Communicates results of data analyses clearly using various mediums.
  • Collaborates with customers to understand operational processes and clinical documentation practices.
  • Makes recommendations to improve performance based on data understanding.
  • Acts as a change agent for advancing analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Develops and executes analytic training plans.
  • Mentors and advises data analysts in understanding data sources and creating effective analyses.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Statistics, or other related field.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in workforce/business analytics, management consulting, organizational research, or strategic HR business partnership.
  • A combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
