Role Description
This role is for someone who combines strong SaaS experience with business instinct. Someone pragmatic, who understands that great legal work enables growth, not blocks it. Legal at Text is not a back-office function. We are a focused, high-performing team embedded in the business, helping drive smart and responsible growth. You’ll work closely with the Head of Legal and collaborate daily with Product, Sales, and Operations.

About the team:
- Legal at Text operates as a tight, expert unit
- Covers privacy, emerging AI-related regulation, commercial contracts, intellectual property, compliance, due diligence, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong exposure to the US market
- Work in weekly sprints, prioritizing quality over rush
- Share context openly and support each other in complex matters
- Thrive in product-driven, tech environments
What you'll do:
- Draft, review and negotiate SaaS commercial agreements, including MSAs and enterprise contracts
- Support EU and US privacy compliance in day-to-day operations
- Translate legal complexity into clear options, trade-offs, and provide business-oriented recommendations
- Contribute your input to ongoing Legal priorities while operating within a clear strategic Legal team direction
- Own your matters end-to-end with strong preparation, documentation, and disciplined follow-through

- Experience navigating legal aspects of emerging technologies is highly valued
- A working understanding of the US legal landscape and practical awareness of AI-related regulations are strong advantages
