- Establish principles and patterns for:
- Human-in-the-loop design
- Trust, explainability, and transparency
- Progressive automation that earns user confidence
- Ensure AI experiences feel assistive, invisible, and empowering, not noisy, overwhelming, or “black box”.
- Balance “Skating to Where the Puck Is Going” with Shipping Now
- Push the organization toward next-gen interaction models (adaptive interfaces, ambient intelligence, new design paradigms) while staying grounded in real customer problems.
- Know when to invent and when to simplify.
- Drive pragmatic progress with shipping improvements that meet users where they are today while laying foundations for tomorrow.
- Deliver Consumer-Grade Experiences at Enterprise Scale
- Raise the bar for usability, design, and emotional resonance across the product suite.
- Partner deeply with customers and practitioners across K-12 to expand and evolve our user research practice—grounding design decisions in real-world contexts and workflows.
- Ensure experiences feel natural and intuitive by meeting users where they are today, while helping define the future of K-12 software through continuous discovery, testing, and learning.
- Translate customer insight into forward-looking design principles that shape next-generation experiences across the platform.
- Champion clarity over complexity, especially as the platform expands.
- Ensure our experiences feel modern, fast, and intuitive without sacrificing power or flexibility.
