Role Description
You will be the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Program Export Coordinator (PEC) responsible for managing and supporting the team in imports/exports primarily with Australia but the position could evolve as the PrSM missile becomes exportable.
As the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Program Export Coordinator (PEC), you will be responsible for providing export and releasability guidance to program personnel, serving as the main interface between International Trade Compliance (ITC) and the PrSM Program, and understanding current regulations related to export and import of the PrSM system and associated hardware and technology.
- Provide export and releasability guidance to program personnel.
- Serve as the primary interface between International Trade Compliance (ITC) and the PrSM program.
- Coordinate international business activities and manage licensing requests, including data gathering and documentation.
- Maintain records of all imports and exports, ensuring compliance with temporary licenses (DSP‑61s, DSP‑73s) and timely return of hardware.
- Oversee the International Export SharePoint and support international visits, stakeholder training, and exemption requests.
Qualifications
- Must have a completed Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of licensing process and requirements for the Department of State and the Department of Commerce
- Experience utilizing ITAR license exemptions and EAR license exceptions
- Thorough understanding of different license types and ability to differentiate needs between licenses
- Experience developing and/or improving export strategy
- Experience interfacing with International Trade Compliance (ITC)
- Thorough understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) efforts
- Proven track record of project management from development to completion of special projects
- Ability to develop positive relationships with suppliers and customers
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen
- Strong process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization
- Proficient in Excel, Word, SharePoint and MS Teams
