Job Title: Customer Service Representative - PM Shift
Job Description
Join our team as a Customer Service Representative within the National Campaigns Unit, where you will play a vital role in supporting shareholder communications for public companies. This project involves assisting companies with their Spring Proxy, helping them manage annual meetings and voting processes. Your role will include distributing proxy materials, collecting votes, and ensuring secure vote recording, all while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and running Board of Directors meetings, which can be in person, virtual, or hybrid.
- Handle inbound, outbound, and email responses related to shareholder communications.
- Place outbound calls to shareholders during the PM shift to assist with voting and address inquiries.
- Provide clarity and assistance to shareholders regarding the voting process and ballot items.
- Manage requests for paper copies of proxy statements and update votes as needed.
- Help shareholders understand and vote on key issues such as Board of Directors elections, executive compensation, mergers, proposals, and auditor ratification.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a contact center environment.
- Minimum of 6 months of outbound call experience within the last 24 months.
- Ability to persuade customers to complete tasks, such as casting their votes.
- Clear and professional speaking voice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to toggle between systems using dual monitors.
- Ability to read, speak, and take notes simultaneously during phone calls.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, with strong de-escalation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a contact center or call center environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with affluent customers.
- Familiarity with using call scripts verbatim.

Work Environment
Work remotely from anywhere in the US, except California, with a focus on PM shift hours: Monday-Thursday 6 PM – 11 PM EST and Saturday 12 PM – 6 PM EST. The role requires a professional demeanor with strong communication skills. Candidates must provide their own USB headset and second monitor, with internet speed requirements of at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. TEKsystems will provide a Dell laptop for work. Opportunities exist for part time income with potential for return projects and promotions based on performance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
