The Systems Architect III - AI/ML will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions supporting internal innovation and federal mission needs, which includes designing architectures, writing production code, building data pipelines, and deploying models into secure cloud environments. Responsibilities also involve shaping solution strategies for proposals, developing prototypes, implementing LLM solutions like RAG, and contributing technical standards to the Center of Excellence.

This role involves providing expert support and technical advisory services to operations program teams and Government customers within the Warfare Systems group. SMEs engage across various portfolios, contributing to direct DoD customer support, new business opportunities, and internal professional development initiatives.

The engineer will support the FAA update of new systems to the National Airspace System by examining facilities, planning site preparations, and overseeing the installation and activation of new hardware and software systems. Key tasks include performing technical site surveys, developing Site Specific Implementation Plans (SSIP), conducting operational risk management, and performing site functionality testing.

This role involves architecting, deploying, and supporting on-premise and cloud-based Linux infrastructure and core IT services, focusing on high availability and reliability. The engineer will develop and champion Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks using tools like Terraform and Ansible for automated management and deployment of platform services.
