Role Description
The Hospital and Med Management Systems Unit of the Hospital and Specialty Systems Section of the EHR/RCM Integrated Systems (ERIS) division is seeking a motivated IT Application Analyst. This position is part of the Inpatient Clindoc/Stork Team, which supports all Inpatient departments as well as Obstetrics, Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Neonatal Care, Pediatrics, and Embryology.
- Analyze and develop solutions for ClinDoc & Stork applications
- Perform build and participate in various workgroups
- Provide 24/7 on-call support
- Support software programs or modules across multiple clinical and/or business functions
- Provide analysis and support for installed systems and system implementation
- Maintain knowledge of existing systems and be certified in the vended application
- Configure, design, develop, or modify applications via vendor tools
- Resolve customer problems with software and respond to requested improvements
- Research requests to determine scope, size, and impact
- Work with customers to elicit requirements through various techniques
- Validate requirement information with customers for completeness, correctness, and clarity
- Validate the developed solution to ensure it satisfies the stated requirements
- Function as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas during the planning process
- Build credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs
- Manage small- to mid-sized projects
- Contribute to software testing activities
Qualifications
- Certification in either Epic's Inpatient Documentation or Stork is required
