Job Description

• Define and own the product roadmap for the Policy Administration System across the full policy lifecycle, including quoting, issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and rewrites. • Act as the general manager for your product, owning strategy, execution, and financial outcomes. • Translate insurer needs, market signals, and regulatory requirements into clearly articulated, prioritized product capabilities and outcomes. • Provide senior individual-contributor leadership for application-level AI capabilities within Policy workflows, including use case definition, prioritization, and governance alignment. • Lead structured product discovery to frame complex customer and business problems and guide solution definition in partnership with Engineering and Architecture. • Steward the long-term evolution of the Policy domain by articulating a coherent product narrative aligned to customer outcomes and platform standards. • Partner with Engineering and Architecture to ensure Policy capabilities are scalable, explainable, compliant, and aligned with Duck Creek’s technology strategy. • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Professional Services to support value articulation, enablement, and consistent positioning of Policy capabilities. • Evaluate trade-offs across customer impact, delivery complexity, and technical sustainability to inform roadmap and investment decisions. • Use product performance data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to guide continuous improvement and prioritization. • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints impacting Policy delivery and escalate with clear options and recommendations.

  • Knowledge of insurance policy lifecycle processes and operational workflows
  • Ability to decompose complex business needs into structured product requirements
  • Skill in prioritizing competing initiatives using value-, risk-, and effort-based frameworks

  • Working knowledge of agile and iterative software delivery practices
  • Ability to partner effectively with engineering and architecture leaders

  • Consistent accountability for commitments, timelines, and outcomes.
