Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative professional to join our team as a Healthcare Research and Strategy Consultant. In this role, you will analyze industry trends, develop actionable insights, and collaborate with healthcare executives to address complex challenges.
- Analyze healthcare industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market forces.
- Generate strategic insights to support healthcare executives in decision-making.
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Help clients navigate complex challenges in the healthcare sector.
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
- Effectively communicate research insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Present research findings and strategic recommendations to clients virtually or onsite.
- Ensure insights lead to meaningful and actionable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare executives, industry leaders, and internal teams to refine research focus areas.
- Validate insights through engagement with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Support efforts to sell, renew, and expand client relationships as needed.
Qualifications
- Passionate about the healthcare industry with at least four years of experience in healthcare strategy, policy, and/or economics topics.
- Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong verbal communicator who can translate complex research into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
- Skilled writer and editor capable of crafting compelling narratives and refining others’ work for clarity and flow.
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, executives, and internal teams.
- Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented and willing to contribute across a variety of projects and topic areas.
Requirements
- Salary: Base range is $120,000 – $160,000, with additional variable compensation opportunities.
- Benefits: Health, dental, 401(k) matching, and unlimited paid time off (with advance notification and manager approval).
- Work Setting: Union currently operates as a fully remote organization with no company offices. The role is considered hybrid and may involve occasional travel for internal or client-facing meetings.
- The majority of work will be conducted virtually from your home. The company will provide a laptop computer, to be returned in the event of resignation or termination.
- Incidental office supplies and expenses may be expensed to the company with manager approval.
