Role Description
As a Sales Development Representative at Pinwheel, you will support our Account Executives in prospecting new customers and building pipeline.
- Act as a key member of the Pinwheel Sales Team, supporting Account Executives hunting new business
- Partner with Marketing and Revenue Operations to establish and optimize the overall Demand Generation systems and process
- Outbound outreach to financial institutions of all sizes, with a focus on the top 100 largest banks
- Help prospects understand Pinwheel’s value story and answering questions about how our products work and what benefits they deliver to Pinwheel customers
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing on managing campaigns and establishing the correct KPIs
- Own a quota for meetings booked and revenue converted
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in pipeline development and/or sales (preferably at a SaaS company)
- Ability to lead high-level conversations with business stakeholders via email, LinkedIn, text and phone
- Mastery in communicating Pinwheel’s value proposition in order to drive interest
- Ability to assess buying interest and experience qualifying prospects
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
- Having a relentless mindset and unwillingness to quit
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM
- Proficiency in using Salesloft or other outbounding tool
- Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed
- Desire to get (more) technical, deepen your understanding of the financial ecosystem, and the ability to learn the ins and outs of Pinwheel’s API
