As EBI Database Developer I, you will assist and support the Enterprise’s overall database needs. In this role, you will help create analytics and .NET applications using databases such as MS SQL and Snowflake, while developing, maintaining, and enhancing databases and applications for internal use and customer reporting.
A caregiver in this role works remotely in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.
To be considered for this position, caregivers must reside in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Assist and support the overall database needs of the Enterprise.
Work to support the creation of various analytics and .NET applications using databases (for example, MS SQL and/or Teradata).
Develop, maintain and enhance databases and applications for internal purposes and customer reporting.
Work in a team of database developers, software developers, and business analysts.
Deliver database analytics and web based applications.
Administer existing databases and the analysis, design, and creation of new databases.
Perform data modeling, database optimization, understanding and implementation of schemas, and the ability to interpret and write complex code.
Proactively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints.
Design, implement and support ETL processes.
Establish database development standards, documentation and best practices.
Perform support, development and administrative activities as required.
Provide periodic on-call duty to support department 7x24x365 applications.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
OR High School diploma/GED and five years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements
OR Associate’s degree and three years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements
Diverse technology background
Strong understanding of relational database concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
One year of database development (Snowflake and/or MS SQL)
Python experience
Programming experience with an emphasis on coding that scalable, well-optimized code for high-volume environments
Experience in Airflow and DBT
Healthcare industry experience
Experience with the Epic system and Clarity billing/clinical data
Experience in Informatica Power Center
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) from Microsoft
Teradata Database Certified Associate (TDCA) from Teradata Certified Professional Program (TCPP)
Physical Requirements:
Requires manual dexterity to operate computer.
Requires frequent computer entry, sitting, standing, and walking.
Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
