Role Description
Woolpert is hiring a Derivatives Geospatial Technician to join our dynamic Geospatial Team. This position reports to the Derivatives Team Leaders and is responsible for performing geospatial mapping tasks on projects.
- Perform geospatial data extraction technical tasks for various projects and clients
- Monitors and executes geospatial processes within their department and ensures all required steps are performed correctly and accurately
- Tracks hours and quality and reports data to the team leader
Qualifications
- Must have BA/BS degree relating to the Geospatial field
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional Geospatial experience
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience regarding ArcGIS Pro data production workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills
- Able to respond quickly to multiple demands in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
- Able to interface effectively with other firm resources in a team environment
- Willing to travel up to 5%
- Licenses/Certifications: GISP, CP, or CMS preferred
